Special meeting of the Board of Supervisors for the purpose of awarding the 2004 road project held June 24, 2004.
Attending: Larry Zimmerman, Allen Aungst, Herm Clemens, Jerry Wise,
Kathy Ferguson and members of the public.
Chairman Zimmerman opened the meeting opened at 7:15 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Zimmerman opened bids received from three bidders as tabulated below:
s Eastern Industries $205,930.15
s EJB Paving $215,783.50
s Pennsy Supply $202,281.57
Discussion of the projects followed and Aungst noted a 20% increase in costs over paving projects last year.
Zimmerman moved to award the paving project items 2A and 2B (Mexico Road) to Pennsy Supply as the lowest
bidder contingent upon final review of bids and use the balance of Liquid Fuel funds to pay for the truck. Clemens
seconded the motion, all were in favor and motion carried 4 to 0.
Meeting adjourned at 7:35 PM.
