October 27, 2004 BUDGET MEETING MINUTES

Chairman Larry Zimmerman called the meeting to order at 7 PM. Present were Supervisors
Allen Aungst, Herman Clemens and Jerry Wise.

Public Comment - No comments.
Supervisors discussed the cost of legal fees and advertisement for the Zoning Hearing Board
and decided to reduce the budgeted expense amount for Zoning Hearing Board Legal Fees
by $500.
The board recalculated the roadmaster and road crew salary expenses based on 2,080 hours
per year and adding a 3% increase to current wages for roadmaster wage expense amount of
$27,850 and a road crew wages expense amount of $81,200.
After a lengthy discussion on supporting the fire companies the board decided to budget each
fire company $10,000 and therefore budgeted expenses were increased by $20,000.
$10,000 was added to revenue from the sale of equipment (i.e. truck, grader, etc.).
It was decided to take the following expense amounts out of the General Fund Budget and put
them into the Liquid Fuels Fund Budget:
s Storm Sewers and Drains - $4,000
s Street Lighting - $2,800
s Road Maintenance Operating Supplies - $5,594
Herman Clemens moved to approve the General Fund and Liquid Fuel Fund 2005 Proposed
Budgets with the above changes, Jerry Wise seconded the motion, all were in favor and
motion carried 4 to 0.
Herman Clemens moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 PM, Larry Zimmerman seconded the
motion, all were in favor and motion carried 4 to 0.
